I’m an independent author from the UK who spends a lot of time in my head conversing with imaginary friends, enemies and inhabitants of other lives, times and dimensions. All of these people and places are a dark reflection of the world as it is, which given the state of it right now, is pretty damn dark.
My novel, Anti-Virus, had me ensnared me in its grim, dystopian world for a long time. From scribbles on scraps of paper, to notebooks, to digital media, it clawed its way into a full-length novel. Whether I liked it or not.
Anti-Virus was unleashed to the world on 30th August 2021. You can read about Anti-Virus here, on its own special page. You can hop on over to Goodreads to read reviews kindly shared by my ARC reader team, and then head across to Amazon to order your copy. I also love poetry and have written a lot over the years. After a break from writing in 2022 and most of 2023, I am easing myself back in. The second half spent outside of it–sort of helping others, ya might say. Second half LOTS better than first half.

Hello , I do like your blog, I had two imaginary frends when I was a child, Bill Bailey and Cuttysarka they never finished their meals either! They really embarrassed my poor mother when we were out and I would tell people “You can’t sit there Bill Bailey is sitting there!” Perhaps my friends are with yours? 🙂

Hi Freya. Congrats on getting the book accomplished. I am a poet and science fiction writer. I finished numerous, long form sci-fi poems, but I’ve never had the patience or concentration necessary to finish one of my 3 sci-fi novels I currently have in sloppy array of getting started. I just get so bored and distractef to something new. Now I worry I’m getting too old, and my failing health. (CHF) — but I still have the writing fire — love to write a poem or two a day, and I create 2-3 bestiful digital art pieces a day, much of t sci-fi sometimes more, and I am crazy abut sci-fi —- come visit my site and check out some of my writing and art.
